The Goat is the eighth in the cycle of the 12 zodiacs or horoscope signs in the Chinese animal astrology system. It is associated with the earthly branch Wei which is associated with the 6th month and between the hours of 1 P.M. and 3 P.M.
The Goat has a mild, considerate, amenable character and sensitive nature. They are the most peaceful and gentle of the 12 animals. They appreciate the simple things in life and are capable of and can deal efficiently with life’s challenge.
They are also adaptable and inventive and can suit most type of jobs except those that are menial or dirty. They prefer a comfortable lifestyle.
Goats can however be hesitant and nervous and worry over minor things. They dislike rules and may suffer from a lack of confidence. Also they can improve on their time keeping.
Discipline and leadership are two areas that Goat can work on. They like to give order but are too hesitant to give them out efficiently. And accepting orders is even more difficult.
Goats however are kind and caring especially of the sick and poor and this is a redeeming point of their character.
Goats are suitable to a job as an artist, scholar, dancer, philosopher, singer, author or work related to advertising.
The Goat should learn to take orders from their superiors and always try to be on good terms with their family and friends. They should be humble and polite and should not judge people by their appearance.
They should plan carefully before doing anything and be honest and virtuous so that they are always prepared for new challenges. They should not be greedy or argue over small matters. Finally know how to rest when they are tired.
